We used to feed a colony of feral cats. After several years the big male would follow me around the yard as I worked, lying just out of reach. It was comforting to have him there. I hope you find the same comfort from Whitsun, who appears to be a lovely kitty!

I swear she comes to check on me. I won't see her at all, and then suddenly, there she is, lounging 15 feet away under the rose bush.
