This is brilliant, laugh-out-loud funny. Thank you. Thank you so much for this.

This is poetic prose, so now you've had your first reading. Screw Iowa Writer's Workshop.

The lenses used by the poets are a kaleidoscope for we mortal readers; a thoughtful contemplation you've published today.

It's a perennial problem, trying to corral all those pieces of prose that flit by. Opening sentences of blog posts, thoughts for journal entries, shopping list items. Those last are the only things that lend themselves to writing down in my phone. I've tried a voice recording app that's proved useful, though.

I'm very sad to see that a non-academic version of article publication charges have made their way into current poetry!

So good! I agree--"laugh-out-loud funny"!

And I might have said more than once, if I hear, ". . . in this season. . . " coming out of the mouth of one more person, I might (at least) scream! Talk about an overused & now worn out phrase. . .

I am glad that anything even closely resembling this might be an irritant to someone besides me. Thank you.
