I'm afraid I murder any insect that enters my home. They have a huge outdoor world to live in where they are safe from me. Love the pictures of Whitsun and the stink bugs. Last week I got 2 cats and finally once again I have a reason to wake up each morning. My hands are full, my home is full and my heart is full once again.

She is adorable. Love the "bap, bap, bap!"

My panther cat stalks spiders and any other crawly things. . . When a bug is involved, she can hold her "post" for a very long time--that is at least one thing she's patient about. I find corpses and know she's been working through the night. :)

I also get rid of stink bugs, but I am totally with you on spiders and centipedes. It is fascinating to see the teeny tiny ones and then see the largest.

Oh, it would have been so fun to see Whitsun "bapping" a stink bug around. I don't think I have seen a centipede at our new home (22 yr old house, but sure had LOTS of them at our prior house that was over 135 years old and had a rather creepy basement. I do see little gnats from time to time in our current home. Perhaps I'll need to corral a centipede or two and bring them on over.

Interesting. We have occasional stink bugs, but somehow, they avoid the cats. They tend to hide up high, mostly in our pleated window shades, for reasons only they know.

I've seen that cat profile before!

We had a family of 4 stink bugs that overwintered. Thinking it was one active bug, we named it Ralph and reported Ralph sightings to each other. Unfortunately, none of them made it to spring.

We put the insects out but do welcome the spiders.
